KBS multimedia radio service has celebrated its third anniversary. Named KONG, KBS On-Air No Gravity (KONG literally means vegetable bean in Korean), the radio player based on internet was launched on May 1, 2006 withan aim to provide easier access for the service users to listen andparticipate in KBS' radio programs. KONG now, since the launch, has more than five million service users. The internet-based radio service provides the latest news updates threetimes a day in English and Chinese and has recently introduced a bulletinboard for overseas listeners.
